Private by design

Your preparation stays on your device.

Privacy is not a premium feature here. Your confession notes, My List, journal entries, penance information and date-only history are stored locally and are never uploaded to AUSV Systems.

  • No account, no cloud

    There is nothing to sign up for and no server holding your reflections. The app has no backend for your content.

  • Locked behind your device

    App Lock uses your device’s own Face ID, Touch ID or passcode, and a privacy overlay hides the screen when you switch apps.

  • Hidden until you reveal it

    My List entries stay concealed by default. You choose what to reveal, and when.

  • Deletion actually deletes

    Removing an entry clears its text, not just a flag. Delete All Data clears everything the app stores locally.

Purchases are the one exception: Google Play, the App Store and RevenueCat handle transaction records under their own policies.

Confession History

Remember when, not what.

If you turn it on, Confession History stores only confirmed confession dates on your device. It never stores confession details in the history record.

  • It does not verify that sacramental confession occurred.
  • It does not determine absolution.
  • It does not replace a priest.
  • It does not determine the validity of a confession.

Do I need an account?

No. Private Confession Prep does not require account creation or sign-in.

Is my confession content uploaded?

No. Confession-related content is stored locally on the device and is not sent to AUSV Systems.

Is the app free?

Manual preparation and core Confession Mode functionality are available without purchase. Additional guided and premium features require Lifetime Unlock.

Does the app record my confession?

No. There is no audio recording of any kind, and the app never asks for microphone access.

What happens if I delete the app?

Local app data may be lost when the app is deleted. Purchase records handled by the app stores or the purchase provider are separate from locally stored confession content.

How do I request data deletion?

Local content can be removed inside the app. For support or purchase data associated with your Support ID, use the Data Deletion page.
